What would I do to deal with global "Globalisation" in 10 or 20 more years?

The first time I heard about globalization was when I was in the 4th grade of elementary school during the social education. I was amazed because I thought that it was incredible. We could have many good products from other countries especially from the America, Europe or China, without needing to go there to buy it. Those products have very fine quality although sometimes the price is higher than domestic products. The technology was also great and far more sophisticated than in here. We could watch TV, play computer games, search information from internet; all because globalization allowed those technology to enter our country so we could do all those things.
But after all about the advantage of globalization, there are also the disadvantage and the challenge from globalization. Because of globalization, people began to prefer products from abroad than the domestic products. This makes the industries in our country difficult to develop and soon will be unable to compete with foreign countries. If this continues, it will be hard for us to found nor develop our own business because those foreign companies have controlled the market.
Globalization also affects in culture. It is true if the West culture taught us to have a good work ethics, discipline, hard work and independent. It also taught us to dream big and never give up to achieve it. But in the other hand, west culture can erode our own culture and make it fade. Things like materialism, consumerism and hedonism started to cross wide and become habit in the society. Children begin to be insolent to older people and become disrespectful to them. Atheist and agnostic started to spread out across the world and people become do not believe in God. And also, LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) which is begin to rampant in the west now has been introduced to this country. There are still many other more of it and it is a challenge for all of us now and in the future.
That’s why I need to prepare myself to deal with globalization. If I am not ready in the following years, my life will be difficult and I may not survive in this world. First, I need to start thinking about my future prospects, because I have to consider it with the development of globalization; can it stand against the development of globalization, or it will become hard as the time flows.
The next one is I need to be more creative. Globalization demand to make something different or unique. If I can’t be creative, I will always be defeated with other competitors, especially from people in foreign countries. That’s why if I want to survive, I need to think out of the box and create something different from people commonly.
After that, I have to improve my language. As a social being, I mustn’t work alone. I need another people to help me in every field and condition. That’s why language is a very important thing to help me communicate with other people especially with people from other countries. If I could make a good relationship with them, it will be a very good support for me to deal with the globalization. Language also help me to collect more information from the world that is not available in this country. I can follow the technological, business, market development and not miss the latest update of the world politics.
I also need to sharp my knowledge. In the globalization era, it needs a very vast knowledge so that I couldn’t be fooled by a lot of brilliant people out there. They may have a cunning plan which can set me up or it can bring me down. I also need a wide range of knowledge to be an inspiration for me so that it will help me to create something different. Knowledge is like become my provision to compete with others in this globalization era. That’s why I need to study harder and collect knowledge as many as I can from anywhere.
To deal with bad habit and culture that enter because globalization, the main thing that I have to do is stick to God. Atheist has spread widely over the world and has become majority in some countries. Atheist people said that they don’t need God even though in fact, humans need God because they are a limited being. I also need to keep my manner by respect to another people especially older people. When our attitude is good, people will be happy and can cooperate well with us.
The last one is my greed. I have to control my greed because globalization offer so many products and pleasure that are so attracting us to get it. If we are not wise in controlling our greed, we will end up running out of money. Rather than use the money to buy many expensive brand’s products, it is better to use it for a important purpose like save it so that it become modal for build new business or to invest it.
