What would you do with global "globalisation" in 10 or 20 more years ?

What is globalization? Globalization is the interconnection of countries across the world. It involves the people, businesses, and governments of different countries interacting with each other and integrating investments, trade, and communication. It can also be called an era that every people in the world take a part in this situation. For me this era could affect us as the people of the world in many section. Social life, economic, environment, and even the way someone speaking too can affected because of the globalization. When talking about globalization certainly it will be paired with the some country situation, usually the wealth of the country, the poverty and the most thing is business. Why business? Because the globalization allows all the business man or woman to improve their business as high as they can. Beside that when we talked about globalization we also often relate it with technology. Technology that can facilitate human life.

Talked about the globalization, it must be talked about the impact too. The impact can be affected into every section of human life such as attitude, social life, wealth, lifestyle and many more. The globalization can make the good impact for us but there is the bad impact too. So right now i’m gonna talk about it. Let’s start it with the good impact first. There are a lot of good impact caused by the globalization such as :

1.      Improve the work passion for someone

Gglobalization open the world of the business work so it will be make people more competitive. If you’re not working a good work or not put the best of you one your work, you’re gonna gone because of the competitive competition of each person that want to survive in this world.

2.    The improvement of technology

This is the biggest impact of globalization that make the biggest impact too in our lives, because everyday we deal with technology, we use technology to make our life much easier in every aspect of life. Example right now, we can search a lot of information only one click away from the google, social media or the other platform of the information. So that will help us to know what is latest event that happen in every place and anytime.

3.    Better standard of living

So this is the benefit for us if the era of the globalization come, it truly impact our life so huge. Standard of living can be improved or gonna be better if all the living needs are completed so there’s no worry about the life ahead. With the globalization that make the improvement in many section, one of them is the technology that has been said above, can make better standard of living. The improvement of the technology can make us to complete our daily need easier than before.

The globalization not only talk about the positive impact, but it can make negative impact even also can make some country come into destruction of themselves. The negative impact are:

1.      Foreign culture get easier way to come in

This is the biggest problem if the globalization happened.  Culture is the original identity of some country. If the foreign country could go in easy way into out country it gonna be a big problem specially in my country Indonesia. Indonesia is a law country and with the strong traditional culture, if the foreign country goes in easy it caused a big problem in Indonesia. Even it can make separation and also discrimination among us the people of the Indonesia.

2.    The lost of the social attitude

This is one of the impact if the foreign culture go in into us. In my opinion it will make us more individual. Globalization is like a competitive competition between us against each person in the world. So from that statement it will come the thought of how can I survive in this situation? How can I win this competition? From that thought it will be the foundation of us to be individualist and make the social attitude gone from us.

3.    The fade of local culture

Foreign culture can gives us a significant bad impact to our lifestyle, such us : the way we talk, the way we think, and the way we do something. And those thing will be opposite with our local culture that emphasized politeness and each other cooperation. So it absolutely bring the bad impact for our country if the foreign culture comes in an easy way.

So the next thing is, how I gonna deal with it? As a person that gonna lived in the era of the globalization 10 or 20 years ahead I must come with the solution specially for our country Indonesia can survive in that big competition ahead. So in my opinion there are a lot of thing that I can do to face the future globalization

1.      Prepare social skill

To face the future globalization we need to improve our social skill, like leadership skill, communication skill, and ability to interact or adapt in new environment. Also we need to improve our language ability. We need to learn international language like English and Chinese because in the future we don’t only interact with local people, but we will interact with people from the other country that certainly communicate with International language like English and Chinese.

2.    Be creative and thinking out of the box

Be creative is a must for us to face the future globalization. Our creativity will lead us to create something which didn’t exist before which might be useful for ourselves or other people. Thinking out of the box is one example of thinking creative. Thinking out of the box can be used to solve some problem when all of the solution that exist can’t be used anymore.

3.    Fix our social life

For me it is important to fix our life too, because I think in the future people will be more consumptive to buy the foreign products. It is the problem if we keep buying the foreign products it will make the other country richer but will make our country poorer. So to fix that  we must reduce our hedonism to buy the luxuries things from the other country, and start to love the local products. Or maybe we can start to do something to completed our daily need by making the things that we needed by our own, so we don’t need to buy things that maybe only imported by the foreign country, so we can take the profit to our own self.

4.    Be selective to foreign culture

As explained above that foreign culture gives us enough negative impact for us. So what we gonna do is we must be selective to the culture that came in to our self. Put the bad away and take the good in from the culture that came in.

So that’s all my opinion  about the future globalization. I hope we can make our world better than before .
